On the street-side of the Swarte Walvis, you’ll find ‘the Baleine’, catering various ‘to-go’ items for those with maybe less time or smaller apetite. Open 7 days a week!
Our doors are open 7 days a week. The restaurant is open from 12 o-clock, but our Take Out is allready open at 9.30 for drinks and snacks. Be most welcome!
We are open from 12:00 to 17:00 Sunday through Thursday, and from 12:00 to 22:00 on Friday and Saturday. We have an ‘all day menu’ with lunch untill 16.00. We open earlier for reserved meetings or other appointments.

Not realy in the nearness of the Zaanse Schans, but a realy nice place though. This restaurant is situated in the historical laboratory of a former weapon factory. With a lovely terrace and extensive menu.
